Patio season is right around the corner, and this job came together really well. We replaced the existing patio door with a sleek black sliding unit, added a jamb extension to properly fill the opening, and finished it off with updated trim all the way around. The result is clean, sharp, and built to last.

The jamb extension is one of those details that a lot of people overlook - but it matters. When a new door doesn't perfectly match the wall thickness of the original opening, a jamb extension bridges that gap. Without it, you end up with an unfinished look and potential issues with air sealing and trim alignment. We always make sure that part is done right before anything else goes up.

The black frame is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. It ties into the existing interior finishes, frames the view of the backyard and deck beautifully, and gives the whole space a more modern, intentional feel. It's a small upgrade on paper that ends up changing the entire vibe of a room.

Whether your current patio door is drafty, hard to slide, damaged, or just dated - a replacement is one of the higher-impact things you can do for both comfort and curb appeal. We handle the full scope, from pulling the old unit to trimming it out properly so it looks like it was always meant to be there.
